Julien Nebenzahl, 40, is the CEO of DayByDay, the leading European independent research provider in technical and quantitative analysis of financial markets.

After a business management school at ESCEM, he qualified for a PhD of Monetary Economics at Paris X – Nanterre. He started working on equity financial markets as derivatives sales first.

He soon crossed the line and joined the buy-side in an asset management at Group Caisse d’Epargne. In charge of diversified funds, he found himself making more and more of his stock and bond investment decisions on the grounds of technical analysis.

That strong expertise was to be propped by a proprietary IT allowing excellent productivity, and flexibility of service to customers.

Julien completed his education with the Certified Financial Technician, delivered by International Federation of Technical Analysts, www.ifta.org . He has been Chairman of the French technician association AFATE (www.afate.com) from 2004 to 2007 and chairman of the 21th IFTA annual conference in Paris in 2008 and served as IFTA board member.
