The 2019 edition of the World Economic Forum's 'Global Risks Report', ranks 7 of the top 10 future threats to the world as ESG related factors. The failure to address climate change, water crisis's, income, gender and religious inequalities, plus legal, regulatory, and social standards, are all perils investment owners need to be mindful of in allocating. Those who not only mitigate the risks but seek to address them are poised to stand out and thrive.

The inaugural Institutional ESG Investment Summit will examine through an informative and interactive program, the impact ESG factors are currently and will increasingly have on institutional asset owners and third-party managers who serve them. Through a three-Stream format, the event will:

  • For asset owners: explore the funds they can buy, the asset allocation strategies that they develop, and the investment ideas they should explore
  • For portfolio managers and traders: how to develop best-in-class ESG investment strategies, for DB and DC clients, and allocate in such a way as to produce market beating returns
  • And for middle and back-office operational professionals: interrogate how investment groups can improve their ESG operations, through an examination of improved governance, risk, and compliance approaches

Registration to the event is strictly open to asset owner group representatives – pension funds, insurers, foundations, and other capital owner institutions – plus heads of ESG investment, middle and back office operational professionals. To apply for your place, contact registrations@clearpathanalysis.com or Register online today.

Our Talking Tables workshops form a unique part of our summits and give our conference attendees the opportunity to engage with one another on subjects they’ve stated to be issues of most pressing concern, interest, and topics for action. Sponsors may host a Talking Table workshop subject and lead the discussion on one of the suggested topics below.

Four of the workshop topics from those listed below will be covered during the summit.

Should a sponsor wish to put forward a subject for consideration that is not listed below, then we are open to additional topics. However, only subjects that we believe investment professionals will actively participate in will be seriously considered and accepted.

For more information on the Talking Tables workshops, please contact Noel Hillmann - noelhillmann@clearpathanalysis.com – or Joe Wilde – joewilde@clearpathanalysis.com.
