Fixed income exchange traded funds (ETFs) are rising in popularity around the world, with BlackRock analysis showing bond ETF assets crossed $1 trillion in June 2019, a growth milestone that highlights how far they have come in their first 17 years. In the Asia Pacific market, institutions are adding ETFs to fixed-income portfolios to gain liquidity and yield.

The Fixed Income Exchange Traded Funds Demand, APAC Report examines questions, considerations, concerns, and aspirations for utilising fixed income ETFs in institutional investment portfolios, with particular focus on the markets of Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore, exploring how environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) concerns are integrated into fixed income ETFs.

This report brings together senior investment and operation officers of APAC based asset managers, insurers and wealth managers to discuss the large issues stemming from these questions.
